QABD believes that writing is an integral aspect of the archiving process. However, it goes beyond mere documentation; writing provides us with the opportunity to reflect on our archive, connect the dots between different incidents, examine them, and create a comprehensive perspective on queer lives and their memories. Our analyses are primarily conducted by QABD’s in-house archivists or guest writers invited to explore specific themes or archival items.
